Plants are the heart and soul of a garden, so it's always important to pick the right plants. Here are a few plants you might encounter at our Aggie Monarch Butterfly Garden.

Showy Milkweed

Did you know that milkweeds are integral to the Monarch Butterfly life cycle?

That's right, Milkweed plants are the only thing that Monarch caterpillars eat. In our garden, we picked Showy Milkweed. Since it's native, it is well suited to our Texas climate.
