Origami Butterflies
Outside of Gardening

Much of CKI's contribution on campus was actually outside of the actual garden construction. CKI hosted multiple informational tables. They also did a lot to advertise the construction of the garden as well as bring more attention to Monarch Butterflies including design a mobile game.

What is CKI?

Circle K International is the collegiate chapter of the Kiwanis family of service organizations. They provide a place for their members to grow through their principles of service, fellowship, and leadership. They participate in a variety of service projects and activities in the Bryan-College Station area.

Our District Project

This project was introduced to us by Dr. Kulhavy, a Nacogdoches Kiwanian, who studied the Monarch Butterflies' migration and population decline. He brought the whole district's attention to the issue. TAMU CKI decided to build a butterfly garden on campus, so we joined forces with Andrew.

Circle K International

An individual can make waves, but many of us prefer to serve our community and make a difference through a group. That's where CKI came in.
